Aloo ka Jhol Recipe | Potato Curry.



Aloo ka Jhol recipe is from Uttar Pradesh cuisine and mostly it is served with “ poori’s “, you can have this awesome and tasty aloo ka jhol in your lunch or dinner, this curry is also called “ Tari “ in hindi language”, Indian peoples makes this delicious aloo ka jhol in various ways and according to their taste and requirement.
This recipe is also famous by this name “Aloo tamatar ka jhool” in northern side of India, you can have this delicious potato curry with roti, paratha or naan but it goes good with simple roti made from wheat flour, it is oftenly made in Indian houses twice or thrice in week.
Ingredients For Aloo ka Jhol:
500 gm Chopped Potatoes (Soaked in water for few Hours).
2 Medium Size Finely Chopped Tomatoes.
½ tsp Turmeric Powder.
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
2 Glass Water (You can add more or less).
1 ½ tsp Cumin Seeds.
1 ½ tsp Mustard Seeds.
Few Curry Leaves.
Salt According to taste.
Some Freshly Chopped Coriander Leaves.
4 Tbsp Oil.
